Well 20cv doesn't get as hard and is mostly Chromium Carbide I say no more questions, do or die
20cv has higher carbide volume of larger carbides with less toughness than M4 so most likely edge geometry is going to have to be more obtuse to handle field use compared to M4.
They would most likely be in the same edge retention category but if you run M4 with a thinner geometery than it will be the better cutting steel.
