CPM3V and CPM420V

Crucible seems to be totally out of CPM3V and CPM 420V. I had them check the warehouses. They also saif they have no orders, and don't plan to make any. Does anyone out there have this stuff in .100 to .188 plate, and would you be willing to sell me some?? I have been wanting to try the 3V for several years now.

We need to get sevral folks involved here and do a mill run buy of 420v. If there is any interest post here and well try to get one going..

I have reqs in for quotes from Crucible,
1/8
5/32
3/16
420V
3V
400lbs of each
when I get a deliv date I will post it and start taking reservations.

I would be interested in getting in on a order of CPM3v. What is Crucible's Policy on order siz(minimum order??). Maybe we should make a "batch" order if necassary.
 
As to the minimum order, I believe its 200LB. That will make a hell of a lot of blades, and will probably cost about $4000.

The Crucible dealer in Germany - Robert Zapp - hass CPM 420 V in 4mm plate in stock. They'll cut to size. Price is DM 125 per Kilo. I can't find their Tel. number right now, but it on the steels page of my website:
