I also just got myself a Spyderco Native. This is my first spyderco and also first knife in CPMS30V. I got it to go in my EDC survival kit and I wanted to test it out on a filnt rod to see how well it will throw sparks. WOW
, what a shower. The back of the blade has some sharp edges and it throws a good deal of sparks. Good thing to know, I guess, I just started testing how different steels perform with flint. I usually just used a jig saw blade. Not anymore
. The knife also is perfect for a survival tin, it is flat! It lays perfect on the bottom. Very sharp and good lock. Just wanted to share this with everyone.
