Ok so i was thinking of getting a spyderco ukpk OR... a spyderco h1 dragonfly,
I like how the ukpk is made in usa  but i also like the virtual impossible to rust h1.
What would you guys recommend????!?!?
Thanks,
Nufdes :D

Unless you plan on swimming in the ocean everyday or working around salt water you would have to seriously neglect S30V for it to rust, get the ukpk if thats what wets your whistle.

What he said.

I agree. The H1 is made for those who are around water and have to worry about rust. S30V is great for an EDC, in fact I have a UKPK FG G-10 in S30V that I occasionally EDC and it is great with no issues at all. Although I am a bit biased towards UKPKs but nonetheless they are great knives!

I didn't think any but the discontinued G-10 UKPKs were in S30v. The FRN models are either Gin 1 or CTS BD1. Regardless, I agree that unless you are using it at the beach daily, the H1 shouldn't be that big of a selling point for a light weight EDC.

your right but i snatched one up just yesterday brand new

If you want a serrated knife, H1 has great edge retention. It's PE edge holding abilities, however, aren't very impressive. So unless you like sharpening it all the time (Easy to do, at least), I wouldn't get a PE H1 knife unless you need its rust proofness or general toughness for your uses.
