I do monitor the local repeaters, but it isn't very active in these parts.

I should start over again, I was a bit put off when I moved about 10 years ago and went to the local meeting. Everyone just sits around and listens to a recording of an address from the national president. They weren't very welcoming, much different from where I moved from.

Forgot to add that I went to a local club meeting when I first started out. They had a 50+ year old tranny as a member. Try explaining that to someone on a field day. Havent been back....
