If I had to run for my life and take two weapons. I think they would be a 16" WWII Khukuri or 18" Sirupati (depending on weight) and my Mossberg m590.

But if you could only take one, which one would it be?

Shotgun - very effective, but less so without ammo

Khuk - won't win a gun fight, but won't let you down.

I think I'd go for the shotgun - it would make a pretty good club after running out of ammo. Long reach wouldn't do too badly in a knife fight.

An 18" WWll or Chitlangi. A trim .308 bolt action rifle is practical.

But if you'd asked what do you WANT to take, then my Chitlangi and a .41 mag revolver. Haven't decided upon which of the three I own.

I'd want the HK MP-5 with integral silencer, and subsonic 9mm rounds. All you hear is the bolt operating, sounds like you just fired a paintball gun. Compact, Hi capacity and reliability, field tested around the world for CQB.

A little outta my price range, and the integral silencer is mil-spec only.

Yeah I would love that also. One of my favorite firearms. I was able to fire one awhile ago and now I dream. Living in cali agggggghhh no go. So my two weapon combo on the go still will be the 18" Sirupati Khukuri and my 590 mil spec shotgun with Knoxx pistol grip.

Weapon X

:)

A taped roll of quarters in a heavy work sock will put some body out for the count and then some. Whoever is on the recieving end will hear bells for a long time. :)

In my wilder days instead of a roll of quarters we used the 8 ball from the local pool hall and the grungiest sock we could find, just banging that thing on a table would settle most disputes.:D

Or a potato if you want to look really innocent. (or so I hear). The Thousands Standing Around (TSA) look at it weird but can't say much :/

AK or SKS with Fixed 20 round mag would do me. Khuk? The next one I buy. For that matter, a No 4, Mk 1 or 2 if I had a bunch of SP and ball.

My Millenium Special khuk and my Browning lever action in .308 go with me, but Tohatchi asks an interesting question. If I was going to be forced to take only one, and had to live off the land, I might have to go with the khuk. With the knife, I can make devices for killing game quietly, I can build a shelter, I can defend myself if I can get close to him, and make traps and throwing weapons for when I can't. Obviously, though, both would be better!

I saw the pool ball thing in a movie. I think the guy after getting hit with the assembly said, "My teef, my teef."

Ive always kinda wondered whether it was the pool ball or the sock that scared people most:p Then again the people that made us whip out the good ol sock of pain usually didnt show up again to say which:D
