CQB2 Handle

Since I spotted that new CQB1, I have been thinking I'll pick up the smaller version when it comes out. One thing that concerns me though, is the size of the handle. At 3 3/4 inches, is it long enough to provide a positive grip? For comparison, the Nimravus Cub has a 4 1/4 inch handle, the Fallkniven F1 handle is 4 1/2'' and the Busse #3 has a 5'' handle. More blade is better IMO, I was just wondering why the handle is smallish.

Good point AF,
But keep in mind the difference in the knives mentioned and the CQB2. THe CQB2 was designed by Bob Terzuola as a more concealable version of the full size CQB1. Just like a handgun, the hard part of a knife to conceal is the grip. The BUSSE #3 is a utility knife, you need a larger handle for utility work, but it sure would be alot harder to carry and conceal.

We have not simply 'reduced' the CQB1 and called it the CQB2. Bob T. has reconfigured the handle to reduce its size as much as possible, while retaining as much purchase and control as needed in a concealment, 'backup' fixed blade. Its a serious knife, with serious design parameters. The proto's are working out real well, I think you will like it. Thanks for the interest.

Thanks for getting back to me Mr. Fennell. Good on Camillus for providing quality sheaths with the CQBs. That's one up on Benchmade. I'm sold.
