I've considering finally going and getting an Emerson which has been one of my goals since I really got into knives (I just never got around to it for one reason or another). The big issue has always been "which one?" I found the karambits to be very cool and two of my favorite knives but I could never really justify the cost for such a specific knife (maybe I will eventually, I don't know:p) and the CQC 12, while an amazing knife, really pushes it for my budget. Thus, I stumbled upon the CQC 10. I like the looks of it, the hole looks good, and it is in the standard V grind IIRC. I just some help deciding if it's worth the price tag.
So are there any opinions on this knife out there from owners?
Thanks for the help in advance:thumbup:

I have and love it, I think it is the perfect Emerson..."well if it where frame lock we would be in there."
I love the thumb hole over the standard disk. The size of the blade and the handle ergos are perfect. I say go for it. And then lets see some pics.

I like the 10, the hole is a nice change over the usual thumb disk
and the size is just about right id say.

You dont hear much about them but they are great knives,
i think people tend to go for 7s and commanders so you hear more about them.

+1 on the pics :)

I love my 10. The handle is very comfortable and has good traction. The edge retention has been excellent, action is smooth, lockup is very good. I don't have even the smallest of quibbles with the 10. Everything about the knife has been great and I consider it to be money very well spent.

Its funny because I was just going to post about my 10 and how I just dug it out again today after almost a year. I cleaned her up, oiled it and ran it over my DMT a few times.I took it to work and reminded myself why I bought it in the first place. Nice looks, great feel and a v-grind. I have mine scary sharp. I was using it to cut Kevlar thread all day as well as cardboard and 1/8th in. high density fiber panels used in our mattress. I will say after 10-11 hours of use, it is still sharp as hell.

Get one, you will not regret it! I'm going to put mine back into carry rotation again.

Post deleted, because I am an idiot and my knife is an 11 and not a 10! Doh!
