CQC-11 Discontinued?

I ordered a cqc-11 about a month ago on 1sks and I'm still waiting for it. I got an automated message from them saying it's on back-order, but I starting to wonder if it's coming at all. Anyone know what's up? Is this just a normal wait for an Emerson? Thanks.

Emerson knives are made in batches. They make so many of one model then make another batch of a different model. This is a cycle. Once a batch is made Emerson will sell them on their website and dealers will typically have them as well. Once they sell out you have to wait until Emerson makes the next batch of that specific model and there is usually no set time frame for that to occur. You can follow Emerson on Twitter to see what batches are being made from day to day, week to week, or month to month depending on their manufacturing schedule.

Thanks for the info. As long as I know its coming, I can be patient. I was just starting to get worried. If anyone has some cqc-11 pics they would like to share, they would be welcome.
