They are hard to get, so the price is somewhat elevated.

I saw a CQC-12 HD at a knife shop recently for $450.00.

The HD knives are obviously sort after pieces so you can expect close to RRP for one. The part
serated knives are just not as popular so you will no doubt get (a little) less for one of those.

You can ask for what ever you want for it at the end of the day but I personaly would
cap the price at about retail. I'm not interested in price gouging fellow knife nuts. :thumbup:

For a PE in good condition I would say start your bidding at $375.

For a part serrated in good condition perhaps a bit less.

The black coated ones may be more desirable than the silver coated but that is subjective.

I agree, and I wish everyone was like this! Personally, I only keep the ones I really covet and let the rest go.....

knifecenter.com has a SF combo 12 in stock for $330. Personally though, I detest combo edge. All or nothing for me!

I decided the hell with how much it's worth, so I went and cut a bunch of stuff so I won't be tempted to sell it.
Now it has that good old fashioned scratchy goodness.
Still wish it was plain edged though...

its been my experience that the satin finish EKI's are a bit more desirable than the coated ones, they certainly seem to sell faster.

same thing with plain edge vs serrated, the PE is a bit more desireable.
