Finishing this project up tonight, as you can see the handles need final shaping and chamfering, buffing and the screws all need to be, well you know.
Just doing it for fun. I think I will put these on my fixed blades possible. Its great stuff as long as it is not made too thin.

-Decided to go with satin finish liners.
-Ti blue thumb disk
-Pine cone Resin handles
-Two tone hand rubbed blade to look battle worn, or maybe nicer than battle worn
-Replaced blade stop with a new home hardened pin
-OD micarta backspacer
I think that it, but this should be a one of kinder for sure.
Id like to see it go to an emerson guy. I have a few new toys coming and an anniversary on the 21st.
But it is tempting to use it.
I decided the clip will be decided by the owner and the disk with come satin and the extra will be the blue titanium.

Thats what im thinking lol. I will post up fresh pics after it is complete in proper lighting. It should blow my mind :)
Just need to put a final rub on the blade, and a few other things and it should really pop and be one of a kind.

Nice work. Too nice for me as id never use it.

Man i hate the cold and snow with a passion. I was sitting out back today burning yard waste in a tshirt and sweating. Wouldnt trade that for anything. You northern folks i just dont get.;)

I dont want to either. But it will sure take a nice beating when someone does.

Yeah, your not kidding about the cold. It was like -19 last night. Freaking cold night shift.
My shop was actually 39 with the heat on earlier, so I am calling it quits until the AM. It sucks out there. And its too cold to work with anything other than g10 or micarta.

Thanks, I was happy how the white kind of worked as a bolster. And the angle of this front piece really flows with the handle shape.
I did not even flush cut with the liners yet, so its a little funky looking atm.
The handle coloration is very classy.

Any thoughts on if I should use the blue disk or an acid stone washed disk. And the same for the clip. Pirate clip in black or hand rubbed or acid washed clip.

Looks awesome, very nice work. Has the fixed blade look, like a bark river or something, which is a cool take on a tactical folder.......I think you should go with the acid washed disk and clip.

Wow that looks amazing, I really like it. Great job! It looks too nice to use, but I would anyway, the pattern in the handles looks awesome, very unique.

you are more than twice the man i am......i wouldn't have lasted more than 5 minutes out there.

yeah it's beautiful work. i like blue, over acid, but i ain't buying it so it doesn't really matter what i think and like. call me impressed regardless. that is really growing on me, and i never like fancy stuff much.

Here are some fresh pics.
The damn thing sold in five minutes lol.
But here it is. Im uploading pics of the process on a similar knife.

Jeez I saw this on the exchange, absolutely stunning knife! Lucky guy that wound up with it! If u happen to do anymore, let me know! :D
