Nice choice with the CQC-13. I've always liked the look of a Bowie shaped blade.

The waiting is the hardest part but hopefully it won't be too long. I'm in the same boat as you seeing as how I have 4 (possibly 5 if the Combat Karambit was in stock) Emerson knives on the way.

-Mini Commander from Blade HQ
-CQC-14 from Buds Gun Shop
-Mini A-100 from Dave's Knife World
-Combat Karambit from Oso Grande Knives

I figured those would give me a good selection of both blade types and sizes.

Edited to add: CQC-15 is too big for me and the CQC-14 will be returned as it just won't serve a purpose due to the sheer size of the handle. Mini Commander is likely to be a Christmas present for my little brother.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick this up? The only place I've seen them is Ebay, but they're all serrated and I was hoping for a plain edge.

I got the 13 from Emerson Knives Inc's website. It showed one left in stock and I bought it.
