Cqc 13?

dont see it on the emerson website and it looks really sweet and at $150 its a good price, anyone know anything about this design, other than as with all emerson products being some of the best knives out there.
 
The CQC-13 is a nice one. The CQC-12 is very similar in blade design but has the ti framelock instead of the liner lock system. I also believe there is a smaller version of the CQC-13 due out very soon. It was un-veiled at this year's Shot Show.
 
i edc a custom specwar '13 FWIW, the production '13 blade is similar to a '12 the handles are quite different though, i like it myself.

if i didnt wanna spend the $$ for a '12 i'd get a '13.
 
The 13 is on the Emerson site ? 6 down from the top in the middle of the kerambits.

Its a nice blade alright, its a bowie so whats not to like :D i do prefer the 12 my self and i find the handle on the 12 is better for me but the 13 is up there with the best of them for sure :thumbup:
 
I've got one. It made my first Emerson Purchase. I have been extremely happy with it. It has seen a lot. I even managed to chop a few small trees down with it once helping a friend who got his car stuck in the mud. The trees were about the size of my forearm in width.
 
I've owned about every prod. EKI out there. My favorites are the 7 series, 11, 13 and 14
I liked the 13 more than the 12 even. The 3 that I have owned in the past have had excellant liner locks too, as in tight and thicker titanium locks than say my 14 or 7. They aren't sheeple friendly though. Anyways I don't think you would regret your choice in the 13. keepem sharp
 
I've owned a 13 and now a 12. The liner lock on the 13 was excellent, very tight...almost can't tell the difference with the 12 frame lock.

The CQC 12 handle is much more comfortable for me, love the feeling of the Titanium slab handle!

both are beautiful knives though
 
Just got my 1st emerson last week, a cqc-13 SWEET! So sweet I just bought a persian and a cqc-8 bt! This is going to get expensive!!!!!!!!!
