CQC-15??Anyone??

I thought I seen something about a CQC-15 somewhere.Is this limited to The Collectors Society or is it a new production model due out?

Last I heard, the productions were a month or two away. The ones that are out are the custom prototypes.

I called Emerson Knives this last Monday after receiving a HD-7 with a polished Ti slab instead of a bead blasted slab. Anyway the woman on the other end told me that it would be about three to four weeks until the big news on the CQC-15 is posted on the website. She also said that photos would be available around then. So far looking at the pictures in the links that mr.vu provided I am definitely going to get at least one of these.

BTW this is my first post here.

Welcome AndrewR. You are among good company.You are making a great choice with Emerson Knives.I wish I could have nailed that Proto 15 on Ebay.I thank you and mr.vu for the info.

Thank you for the warm welcome MPE. I have five Emerson knives right now, 2 CQC-7's, 2 HD-7's (one I just got Monday) and a SPECWAR B. I have a Mini Commander and a full size Commander on the way. I am also planning to buy a CQC-14 next month and the CQC-15 when ever it comes out.
 
Thats quite a collection you have.I will be buying the 15 as well and a Karambit7. I can't say all my knives are Emersons though.I wanted an auto so bad I bought a Troodon from Microtech and a RRFA from Combat Elite.I have all the autos I want now.I am more into folders,although I will get a couple fixed blades at some date.I also have two CRK Sebenzas. I will be buying some customs from Emerson at some date as well.I would like to make a couple shows with about $3-$4 grand and blow it on Emerson customs. I heard at the shows Ernie will sell customs for $5-$6 hundred.Well,hope to hear from you in the forums.Have a good Thanksgiving.

Customs are a little rich for my blood at this moment. Maybe someday. I too collect other knives. I have five MOD's and a fixed blade and a folder from TOPS. I am thinking about getting a Microtech SOCOM Elite and someday a HALO 3. Emerson is my favorite knife company though.

The number of custom knives at the shows is generally around 2 dozen and there are scores of people waiting to purchase them. If you get drawn you can purchase one in the lottery at the table price which is mid 500's and up. There are dealers that willl carry Emersons at the shows as well and you will see the number of Emerson Customs at the dealers increase after the lottery becasue of people looking for trades etc... I didn't want you to tink you could walk into a large custom show with 3K and walk away from the Emerson table with 6 Custom knives because that is not going to happen.
 
Thanks, I was told you could buy them at shows for a steal but the details were not explained.Thanks for clearing that up.
