My second Emerson knife, a full-size CQC-15, arrived today. For what it's worth, I decided to post about its fit and finish. Overall, it's excellent: lockup is great, the blade is perfectly centered, there is no side-to-side blade play, and blade opening is as smooth as glass with no "gritty" feeling at all. The G-10 scales fit well and the thickness is identical on both sides. The factory edge is not especially sharp, but I have no problem with that; it will be sharp as a razor very soon!

I'm a happy camper.
