CQC-15 for everyday carry?

I have been thinking about buying a quality knife for everyday carry and, if the situation calls for it, self defense. I was just wondering if anyone who owned a CQC-15 already would recommend it as everyday carry/self-defense, or recommend something else by Emerson. Oh, and could anyone who owns the CQC-15 tell me what they think about the knife? Ergonomics, best place online to buy, etc.?

Everyone seems to have a CQC-7, but the CQC-15 just kind of "catches" me.

the 15 is an amazing knife all around..perfect for self defense with stabbing point and crazy sharp blade..it feels nearly perfect in my hand i guess i have an average size hand...the only implication would be if you dont mind sacrificing your pocket space cause it not huge but its a bigger knife for edc(not to persuade from edc'in it because i do but its all opinion)
