Since there is very little on Emerson Kryptek, I thought I would get some pics up.
I am a hardcore hunter and this knife combo resonates with me on ALOT of levels. First of all I wanted a Stone Wash finished Kryptek with serrated blade. SW on this one is polished and is stunning in the sun light.
The 15 is my favorite full size Emerson and serrations make this knife a tripple threat . Great blade to handle size relationship and the handle seems to fit the best in my hands. Total badass and looks intimidating as hell.
Razor hair popping sharp. I managed to break this one in in record time. 4 hours and a cleaning and lube and its smooth as glass. Lock up and blade centering is great. No sticky lock either.
The stone wash and Kryptek really pop together.
I asked for them to pick me out a darker color Kryptek and they did.
(The Sig P320 Subcompact is another new toy this month and it is outstanding as well but that is another thread)
Blade printing is sharp and very clear on this one.
Pics are hard to capture the true hue of the Kryptec and it is very attractive with a matted look. Very natural looking. The SW will help locate the knife when I set the knife down when field dressing deer.
Can't help opening and closing it when its this smooth.
