I got a new CQC-15 a month ago or so and have been carrying it daily since. The biggest thing I have used it for to date was to cut a couple lengths of rope and a piece of sausage.
Today I noticed that the lock is slipping. It doesn't completely release the blade, but it comes darn close. I suspect that if I don't get it fixed, it's only a matter of time till the lock fails. As sharp as this is, it would be really bad for it to slip. I will see if I can send it back for service but the thing is, it's a brand new knife, is this normal?
For now, I'm going back to my Griptillian.
