I bought this off the exchange and just received it today. The sharpening was really bad so I tried to fix it does the blade shape look correct or should I flatten the tanto part out more?

The profile looks stock if your happy with the edge id call it good. You can fade the scratches a bit with a brilo pad if your careful good luck.

Nice score, I love the 15. The Emersons I have from that far back have narrow slot pivot screws, but yours is nice as it is easily adjusted with a penny.

I'll eventually get new hardware, last night I ordered a new pocket clip from Emerson and a new thumb disk from Gray.
The edge was badly messed up at the same angle it is now 25°, it's polished and will push cut phone book paper but the profile looks wrong compared to the pictures on the web.
It looks like the flat tanto part needs to come back another 1/8 inch
