I haven't owned one yet. Here is something I pulled from a web retailer of EKI's wares.
"The Emerson CQC-16 Bushman was designed by Brian B, and is Emerson's first entry into the hunting knife field. Brian is one of the Worlds premier big game hunters. Thats no exaggeration. He held the record for Worlds largest lion for several years. This knife was designed to be a more Specialized blade for cleaning and skinning. The knife comes in both plain edge and serrated and satin or black finish. Features wave opening system for quick deployment."
I think is just a really forward thumbramp for controlled push cuts through tougher materials. Curious to know when these will be available now that the waveless 8 has hit the market.
