CQC-6 help

Hello, I was steered here from posting in the general blade discussion forum. I have a knife I would like to sell for my grandmother. It belonged to my uncle and he passed away. It is a CQC-6.

The guys in the other thread, mentioned that I should have it refurbed before I try to sell it. Anyone know what that entails and what it costs?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks, Rob

Rob,
I replied in your other thread but give Emerson Knives a call at 310-542-1050 and speak to Mary or Derek, and explain your situation to them.
I can tell you that Ernie usually only charges the shipping costs for refinishing a knife that has normal wear and tear. It's hard to tell exactly how much damage the blade has from the pic but either way, I'm sure the charge, if there is one, will be minimal. I only have experience dealing with their customer service for custom knives and IMO it is excellent.
Good luck.

See my reply to your other thread - DO NOT SEND IT IN FOR A REFURB!

Please email me for details why.
