Cqc 7-b show yours

No bolsters. My Emerson's are users so I don't bother pimping them out. I have two more B's brand new in my safe. One is 2012 mfg and one is 2016 mfg (I think based on the serial #) which are the birth years of both my kids. They will each get one when they're old enough.

I'm on the hunt for another, B blade, serrated, with wave. But I prefer the older models with backstrap (not the standoffs) and older pivot is a bonus. Harder to find these days.

And an A for good measure. If you like the B get an A as well, you'll love it. Same amazing knife, more 'useful' blade for suburban operations, ie: cutting a lime for your Corona ;)

My buddy is looking for an A. Ya I know they are users but they look so cool with bolsters like the 6 and 5, I also enjoy the stand offs over the back spacer

The A isn't hard to find. There's at least one dealer on a large auction site that regularly has them in stock.

Ya, a few retailers that are on this site have the A's available, and I think there are some in the Exchange.

I'll agree that the bolstered / modded 7's do look awesome. Maybe one day I'll get one, but to spend the same or more modding a knife when I could just spend that $ on a brand new one just don't add up for me.

Im sure I'll get there when I lean more towards collecting than using. I'm cerakoting my CRK scales and just commissioned a scale for a ZT, so I'm getting there. Emerson's are my favourite knives and I have the most of them over any other mfg, but I have not found the 'beauty' in them that's worth customising... it's like pimping out a hammer or a crowbar.
