I just recieved my CQC-7, and after carrying my Super CQC-7 for a week, it seems tiny!

Is it just me?

I like the knife, and it surely won't be as intimidating to sissies at the office, but it just feels like a toothpick in my hands. I'll have to get used to it I guess....But I'm definately buying a second Super 7 just to have in case the discontinue them. Not only is the Super bigger (much bigger than 1/2" can possibly seem) it shows more attention to detail, like the little grooves on the top and bottom of the handle.

The more I handle it, the more I like it. It has the thicker liner and fits into a pocket easily. I can't get enough of these knives!

you should try handling a mini 7! now thats a tiny one!!

or you just have gorilla hands. :)

357,
Grab the HD-7. The CQC-7 will grow on you-no pun. I had a "7" but really like the HD. I asked Krein to put a zero grind on it. That should be interesting.

congrats on the cqc 7.

You said the liners on the super 7 are thicker. Is that true? how much thicker.

The liners on the normal 7 are thicker, actually. I'm not sure how much, it looks like at least a third more material. I think it has to do with the year made, my Combat Karambit and CQC-7 are both 2007 and have thick liners, and my Super CQC-7 and Commander were made in 2005 and both have thin liners.
