CQC-7 liner lock slipping

When I open my CQC-7, the liner lock slides more than half way across the blade tang. If I put pressure against the spine of the blade, the lock slides to the very edge of the tang and holds there. I'm a little worried that the lock will slide right off and let go of the blade. Here is a picture of how far the lock goes:

Is this a problem?

Send it in to Emerson - if you're the original owner they will rectify it. If you're not the original owner, they'll probably take care of you anyway - give them a call. Worst case it will cost you a few $$ and you'll get a new liner back.

yeah i would prob send it in thats pretty far to the side.
