CQC-7 Numbers

I'm assuming that the numbers on my blade are a type of serial numbers. If my blade is marked CQC-7 99 050 does that mean I have the 50th knife made in 99 or the 50th made period? Mainly just curious...

Even the CQC7's released in 1998 had the "99" blade so unless there is a run which has the blade stamped 2000 and they do start at 001 again you have the 50th knife period.
