Hey guys, I have a number of Emersons. A Super Comm, Super Kerambit, CQC-13 and a La Griffe but lately i've been getting a hard on for a CQC-7. Theres just something gravitating me toward it so I know its just a matter of time and by time I mean on payday i'm going to get one. Now, I EDC my Super Comm everywhere, everyday and that I don't think will ever change. Based on the ergos of the Super Comm and CQC-13 which are 100% combative IMO...What does the CQC-7 feel like in the hand I know I will find out soon enough but I want your opinions as I trust them. Also, what colour handles should I get? Warriors and Wonders, the Emerson dealer I deal with has a number of colours to choose from right now so should I get the straight black or go with something different?

For some reason I have always found the CQC-7 to be better built than the rest of the Emerson line.

It feels like you are holding a mini tank in your hand. Very solid knife.

Emersons kick ass, I literally have a hard on for every knife the company has made.

Do they still make these? I've been wanting a Mini 7 stonewash partially serrated for a long time now.

My interest in the CQC-7 design goes back to the old BM 970 series,
of which I still have several. When the first true Emerson arrived,
I was glad to notice a thicker liner and rounded edges on the G-10
handles. The only knife that feels as good in my hand is my BM 800.
CQC-7 is the essence of the Emerson knife.

Emerson twitter announced mini 7 in stonewash is available now

Yup...they have them on the Emerson site. I just got a Mini-CQC-7BW-SF heading to me today!!
