CQC-7a.. is this a current model or special order?

they make everything in batches. i think they just made some in 2008, so supply is running dry.
 
They're not around that often from the factory, nor do you see them much on the secondary market. One of those knives where you've gotta be patient and ready to pounce when you see it.

There's a couple on ebay at the moment, an Action Concepts limited number batch and a mini one. Maybe worth a look?
