Never owned an Emerson, but saw the above item somewhere, sure looks good, would like to have one. I don't remember seeing this one before, must be an old model??
I e-mailed the factory, they said "at least 14 weeks" before they have them out.

Does anyone have any experience with this one?

A shot of one.

The 7As are great, I actually prefer them to the 7Bs.

The new A100 has a similar blade shape if thats what your looking for.
If not you should still find a 7A if you look about for one.

I much prefer the spear point blade of the CQC-7A over the standard tanto point. The blade on the A-100 looks like it's the same except for the thumb ramp. The v-grind is a lot more useful and a lot easier to maintain. (IMO).

they are ok but i like the tantos better myself, just never have been nutz about spear point EKI's, good knives though.

Thanks for the pic, Gull Wing! The Spear looks good, but...
give me the B, TKG! :)

I saw one the other day in the local store. It was a little large for me but it was still very nice. Seems like a solid all round knife.
