ok I got a cqc7-a,spearpoint plain edge,green g-10.The catalog and site say double v grind on this model,but mine has a chisel grind.Whats up with this? A new option not listed yet? Thanks.

cqc-7A, v- grind?

the "a" versions are a double V grind, but sharpened on one side only. kinda like a half a$$ chisel grind. I used to not like it, but now I do. seems to stay sharp longer, it is easier to sharpen (only one side) and the edge is stronger.
it is just different at first, you'll get used to it.

Well I think I got it now.When they say double ground,they mean the back of the blade is not flat on one side like the tanto,but the edge is still a one side grind.When I think of chisel grind I think of an edge ground on one side and double grind to mean an edge ground on both sides,oh well still like the knife.
