Dear Members,

For those of you who are “A” fans, we have a run of CQC-7As finished. They are black, non-waved, and available in serrated and non-serrated versions. These are vintage in every way and a really great knife. Limited quantities are available, if you want one.

Best Regards,

Ernest R. Emerson

Ernest---You are going make a lot of folks happy with this news. Thanks!

I just picked up a satin PE 7A from my local Emerson pusher...

I'll be taking pics soon, but here is one of his shots:

The back side has the # of 100 and his Action Concepts name.

Been waiting for him to get them in for a while!

The CQC7A is still one of the very best EDCs ever made. A waved P/S framelock version would be the ultimate.
How's 'bout it, Mr Emerson?

What do you mean by vintage?

The Emerson website shows it's original 7A pics with a swedge. My original 7A has one. This AC version does not appear to have one and looks remarkably like an A-100 blade... so I don't know if I would call it vintage, but it is a beautiful knife and I think I'll have to get one.

I wish EKI would bring back the swedge on all their blades. Much better asthetics, and more functional, IMHO.

Picked one up this a.m. off evil bay. A dealer has them in BT PE for less than 120 plus shipping of course. But it is steal of deal of the week if you ask me. The original config 7A too, with the swedge. keepem sharp

PS By far my favorite EKI.

Just rec. my 7A today PE, BT. Like it obviously. Razor friggin sharp too. The only thing that bums my gig is that it does not have the swedge. Pic showed a swedged 7A but not to be. Lock up is perfectly tight with that typical EKI kind of a gritty type opening and closing thing. I am not going to take this one apart and clean it and relube it. I'll just see how she wears in naturally. Still I wish it had the swedge, to me it looks like an A100 in a 7's frame. keepem sharp
