I purchased this knife a few weeks ago here on BF. Would like to ask your opinions if it's worth fixin, where to send it and any idea how much would it cost or just leave it in it's present state and purchase a new one. Again, thank you in advance.

I believe a re-blade costs around $100 depending on the model if you send it in to Emerson for a new blade. I personally love the wave feature but I do own a waveless CQC-7B that I carry as a secondary EDC. I say keep your knife as is and use the money a re-blade would cost toward a new Emerson.

The warranty is voided Emerson wont even sharpen it now. There is no possible way to put a wave back on correctly that would work.

Blade is still useable even without the wave. Maybe just new scales? Have any idea how much would the scales cost?

$35 for the set of new scales. That would be a great blade to learn how to sharpen on your own.

You can purchase a new set of screws from the website but you'll have to send the knife in to be fitted for the new G10 handles.

That knife looks perfectly functional. Just make a user/beater out of it. If you put any more money into it, you may as well have gotten a new knife to begin with (or one in better shape).

That is precisely what I am thinking, what would you people suggest? I want anything between 3 to 3.5 inch blade, does not like serrations and full chisel grind.

I think it's perfectly fine. Unless you have bladeplay that requires fixing beyond your scope, it should be good to go.

I suggest you get a Mini Commander. If you don't like the recurve, you should go for the Horseman.
