CQC-7B or Specwar-B?

Although both knives are very good, I guess your decision would depend on the intended usage. I have both knives. I find the CQC-7 to be an excellent for basic utility chores. I tend to carry for both utility and defensive purpose. Therefore, I lean towards the Specwar for defensive carry due to the hadle configuration. As a matter of fact, my EDC is a PSARK which has a similar handle profile as the Specwar.
Personally, I don't find the Specwar (PSARK) handle configuration too intrusive. It is a larger knife than the CQC-7, but either seats well in a pair of jeans. What I might suggest though, if you are going to go to a Specwar, spend the money and get a SOCFK for the 'wave'.

bfm,It all boils down to what YOU like.I just traded away a SpecwarB and am currently looking for a CQC7B waved.I didn't care for the Specwar's handle configuration.I do like the CQC7 handle.It's less obstrusive in the pocket, feels better in MY hand and I really like the wave feature.Just My 2 cents worth.tom.

B, I think you'll love the SOCFK - it's the best mix of the two (7 and Specwar). Plus, if you DO end up sending it off to Kevin, he'll make it real purty for ya.
