Thinning collection. Specwar (no date), zero degree chisel grind, CQC8 for sale. $1600 including next day Fedex shipping. Flat G10 handles. Blade is perfect. Knife has recently been refurbished by Ernie. G10 from an early batch with some small, round, smooth spots in it that show up in the photo. Spoke with Ernie at the NY Show about this G10 and asked if it was a sign of wear. He told me that it was not, that was the way this particular batch of G10 came in. Subsequently, I obtained a CQC9 with the identical G10. First posting here for the benefit of interested suspects. Please respond via email.

Nice -8! If you would be willing to take seven hundred instead of seventeen hundred...oh nevermind.

It was almost mine. I could feel it in my hands. A nice companion for my double ground 8. Then, I remembered I had those pesky things called bills.

Looking for two CQC-8's for my girlfriend. Is this one still available?

$1700 though, eh? ...

What's going on???

Jbravo sells his CQC/Viper
Tattoo sells his halfmoon 6

Now Jackstraw sells his CQC8

Maybe I should throw a few CQC6's out into the pot.

I'll be selling off my entire collection if I don't get my screws from Emerson Customer service dept. pretty soon. I think it's been over a month.

Price reduced to $1600. If no suspect interested will take it to the Knives For Sale Forum. C'mon guys...lets keep this in the family.

Jackstraw, I'd LOVE to get it. I just don't have the f-ing money.

Joel was looking for an 8. Have you talked to him?

Congrats Dirk,

Does that make your second CQC8? You going to carry one and make the other a gunsafe queen?

Again, congrats and enjoy!!

The bills didn't go away. I basically sacrificed the Blade Show this year for the knife. Oh well, looking for an 8 was the main reason I wanted to go the show.

Yes, I do in fact have two 8's. My first is the double ground, zero bevel, satin finish. I figured this would be the perfect one to get next, chisel ground, zero bevel, satin finish. I can only think of 3 other variations and I'll have all of them. I need to check the Gallery to verify that.

As soon as I get PhotoShop installed on my computer, I'll send in some pictures of my growing collection. Specifically the double ground.

Which to carry? That's a tough choice. Maybe I should carry both.

I was getting weak and almost sent an email to Jackstraw.

Sorry to hear you will not be able to make the Blade Show though. But the silver lining is that this means the Eight you wanted can now go to me.
