CQC-8 Left hand help!

I've been looking very hard at picking up a CQC-8 for use at work (police). I currently use a Spyderco Endura Wave in my left front pocket for defensive/weapon retention purposes. The idea being if I'm trying to keep my gun in the holster with my right hand I need a knife in my front left front pocket that is fast to deploy one handed. I really like the wave on my Endura, but I can't help but think a CQC-8 would be a lot better suited for the role. The problem I'm running into is everything I've seen by Emerson is right handed, except for a few select models. Is there a way to send the CQC-8 back in after purchase or maybe someone on here that could tap it for me? (<- ha) Appreciate the help in advance!

I am a left handed Emerson user/addict! I simply rotate the knife to the left in my pocket pre draw and have never failed to have it open using the Wave feature. The knife will deploy in a reverse grip. I have yet to run into a problem yet. I hope that this helps.

Try it in the left rear pocket. ;-)

This, or you can learn to carry it right handed like I'm doing with my CQC-15. If I need more control, I'll pass it over to my left, but I'm just using it right handed for the most part.

I got ahold of them, $25 and about a week turn around. Works for me
