Hello,I just purchased my first emerson.A friend of mine was needing some money and he offered me a BNIB CQC-8 for $75.00.I had to have it so I pulled the trigger.My question for you emerson-philes is, It's a 2006 model (as printed on the blade) The number below the thumb disc reads 0830. does this knife have two titanium liners? Thanks for any info sent my way.

I think is still have 2 titanium liner by that year. I'm not sure, but I think tha only by late 2007 that they became having only one Ti liner.

Super price!!! Emerson only recently switched over to the one sided ti liner on the lock side with stainless on the non-locking side.

dark light is right. it should have two Ti liners. All 2007 models are now ti for the lock side and stainless for non lock side.
