i heard somewhere that the knives were being sent to surefire soon, so does anyone know when they will be shipping to the dealers, and customers?

I believe your thinking of the CQC8 Surefire combo.

No news as of yet, EKI is done with the knives. I think the hold up is wating for something at surefire.
 
It's still a go. Should only be a couple of weeks now.

Last word I had the blades were coming back from "Finish" and were on the way to "Logo".

Thanks John, I thought I heard someone say blades were done. Could have been done grinding. :)
 
Has anyone other than me ordered their combo directly from Surefire? I ordered from them when I heard from EKI that they would be getting their's first. :)

I did, but I've sent them several emails asking what the deal was, and I've never gotten a response. <shrug> Guess I'll just wait and see if one shows up. = )
