CQC-9

I own a cqc9. It is a well made, sturdy piece made with defense in mind. This is only the second one I have ever seen. They don't come up too often. Like everything else from Les, I am sure it is in first-rate condition.

I should have my CQC9 sometime next week,not Les's though.Also working on a deal for a CQC7 custom,could be a very good and expensive month.Jack,does your 9 have serrations ?
From Mike Turber's post a while back, their have only been 11 made.

I didn't see Mike's post about CQC9s, but I personally saw four on Ernie's table at BladeWest two years ago, and I already owned two at that point. So I think the number he's made is alot closer to fifty than ten, and even there I'm low. Originally designed for DEA agents (according to Ernie), they were used in the field to reap illegal plants and still be a potent defensive tool. I agree with above, they're a very stout and sturdy item that fits right in the CQC line. Les's knife is a pretty rare showing in a tight market, and I doubt it will last long.

tattoo, yes, my cqc9 has serrations on the back of the blade.

Definitely a cool looking knife. I've never owned a hawkbill but I think I would want to add something like that to my collection.
