GOOD DAY MATES, I GOT A EMERSON CQC6 CUSTOM WITH MOP HANDLES/DAMSCUS BLADE AND TITANIUM BOULSTERS IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME WITH ANY CARE TIPS PASS IT ON.THANKS JZ

Congrats on this fine speciman. On mine I keep the blade and titanium bolsters covered with a quick swipe of tuff cloth, and then gently pick it up with a rag to keep fingerprints off of it and deposit it in the safe!

Hopefully you've got lots of other Emerson Customs to choose from to carry on a daily basis and can keep this one for a "Sunday-go-to-church knife only!

I've added this knife to the Emerson Count.

Congratulations on an excellant choice of knife... Which type of damascus is the blade made of?

On the care front I agree with Sniper308, Tuff Cloth on the blade and bolsters and store it in a safe. Make sure you put it in a bag first though or it will get covered in dust...

Regards,

Ed

You the Man!

Any tips to share here on how to get the wife/girlfriend to buy us lowlifes a mega-expensive Emerson Custom?

Flowers to her office...That's the way to go dude.
My fiance' bought me an EMERSON logo custom tanto prototype for Christmas last year. Its the piece de restistance of my little collection!

Ark:

I've always used flowers for other purposes!

Actually, I really don't think I want the wife to buy me a Emerson Custom. If she did she'd find out the value of them and then realize how much money all those knives are really worth sitting in the safe and on the desk, and in my pocket.

So I guess I'll just forget about it! Bad thought anyway!

Sniper 308,
Good point. Strangely for me, my fiance' doesn't so much have a problem with the numbers attached but rather the connotations.
