Heyz folks,
I was thinking of doing some modifications to my 99CQC7A, such as polishing the blade and screws and clip to a mirror finish...i've managed to do the screws and clip in a fairly short period of time, but i'm kinda stuck at the blade section...
does anyone here have any tips? such as what materials should i use?
for the moment, i'm using a cloth and some autosol to polish...should i be using something else?
kindly advise...thanks...:)

How goes it Brother? Funny you ask about the 'satinizing' project.

Try this:Commander Satin Project

I used this method to do both my 2000 Commander and 2001 PSARK. Both knives turned out excellent. I finished the project off with a Dremel polishing kit to bring it to a real satin finish. Remember, when starting with the heavier grit sand paper, do not push too hard because it leaves deep scratches which you will have to work out with the finer grits. Go slow and always sand in the same direction. I think the "new" finish gives the knives a custom appearance. I like them very much.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

:)
