CQC7A or Raven A?

I'm looking to get a new daily work-around-the-house knife, and I'm thinking either a CQC7A or a Raven-A. I haven't read much of the Raven. Any thoughts from the Suspects would be appreciated. Another alternative is a SpecWar-A.

Thanks in advance.

I own each of the one's you listed my favorite is the cqc-7a I own 4 of them. Built great!! Holds an edge ,comfortable in the hand and pocket. But, any of them would be a good choice. The cqc-7a is the most inexpensive if that is a concern.

I now have 2 CQC7A's, a bead-blasted one and a Black-Ti one...IMO it's an ideal size and I like the edge geometry and versatile handle. It holds an edge nicely but is easy to resharpen too.

the mach 1 would also be a good choice, as I like the grip on the mach 1 better than the raven or 'a.
Also the mach 1 gives you a little more blade, and you can pick them up for a little over $100 if you look hard enough.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......... The Mach-1 sounds like a good choice. Any experience with those?

it's missing a wave, but other than that, I like it more. more blade than a 7A and a more comfortable grip than the raven or the cqc7, for me at least. It also has the little traction grooves on the top and underneath in the ti and the g10.
I sold mine because I was hard up for cash, but I found it for $90 on the forums. you might try cumberland knives haggling thursdays and pick one up cheaper. I've seen them listed around for I think $135 or $138.
cheers,
Derek
