been looking at the emerson cqc7b for a while and wanted to know if it was driller for tip up or tip down carry?

depends. that one may be drilled for both. older models had holes top and bottom for carriers choice.

newer models with the wave are all tip up, the wave isnt real useful tip down.
actually, all new models may be tip up.

the one in the pic is dated 2003, kind of on the border re: old and new.
