If any of you guys have both, I'd really like to hear comparisons. Asided from the D2 steel with a conventional grind that benchmade uses, these two knives seem remarkably similar, especially in light of the fact that Benchmade used to manufacture the cqc7b for Emerson.
Anyway, I've got a cqc7a that I've used quite a bit, and a cqc7b that I've used less extensively, and I've come to really appreciate how tough they are. So, with the D2 steel and the conventional grind of the Stryker, I wonder how it compares to the Emersons?
Thanks all!

i prefer the cqc7, whether benchmade or emerson manufactured. it just seems to fit my hand better. i found the disc placement on the cqc easier to access as well. i just sold a stryker cause i never carried it, but a very nice knife anyway.

a stryker is ok but really isnt anything like a '7 (to me anyway) its probably a better knife for utility use because of the std "v" grind, its also got a pretty good blade length to handle length ratio, not a bad knife, just depends on what ya want it for, the '7 imho is more a SD knife.

of the 2 i prefer the '7, ive had several of each too FWIW.
