Just picked up my first Emerson (from the exchange here) and am extremely impressed. I have been reading about the Emerson knives since I joined the forum but was waiting for the right opportunity. I feel that I got a steal on a CQC7B and so far I like the tanto blade and chisel grind. Although well used by several previous owners the blade opens very smoothly and closes with a simple one handed motion.

I think this may shift my buying habits to a much more expensive line, I think I may get a CQC10 next. I will be on the lookout for a well loved 10.

Matt, thanks for a great knife at a great price!

I'm glad you like it! I have tried twice now(with a mini and a full size 7b), but I just can't get used to the chisel grind. I'll probably end up picking up a 7a at some point though, I love the feel of the design.

I've got two 7s. A mini and a regular. Solid knives that are very easy to carry.

I got 3. 2 of em are Reese Weiland modded Super 7's. One has factory handle with Ti blade. Other has a CQC6 style .160" Ti framelock. My normal 7 is another Ti framelock conversion from Reese.
