I heard that the CQC8 Banana was created by Emerson after a conversation he had with Bob Taylor concerning the curvature of the arm and trajectory of a slash in reverse grip. (The Banana works great in saber grip, too.)

Bob Taylor of REKAT created the Hobbit and the Banana looks very similar to it. My CQC8 is also all black, with black liners and blade.

Anyone know more about this story?
Is the Banana modeled after the Hobbit warrior?
