Cqc8 fixed blade?

Do you think they'll ever make one? I know the cqc7 fixed is due to come out later this year, but I think the 8 has a more attractive and useful blade shape. Something like a 5" blade would be perfect. Maybe Emerson rep can comment and tell me if there's a chance or if I'm just dreaming.

I'm assuming the same as the folder handle, the same shape anyway idk about thickness. Probably a little slimmer. The cqc7 fixed blade looks like it retains the same handle shape.

The Spyderco Pigmy Warrior is pretty close also, I know this is the EKI forum but I think we can agree Spyderco is a good bunch too.

Remember it took a few years for the fixed 7 to become production, the same could be true for the 8.
