Cqc8 Supposed To Be Shipped This Week!

I called surefire yesterday to check on status of the CQC8 combo and they said it would be shipped "within a couple of days" I can't wait!
 
Awesome! Thanks for the update. The first batch of 25 is going to TAD, and I'm 23rd in line. Too cool. :cool:
 
so you are going to have your knife is about, what?? 2 years?

Well, its a shorter wait than most buyers have for a CQC-8.

I'll just be here...playing with my frame lock commanders...which one for today...CF inlay, no inlay...inlay, no inlay...choices...

The UPS guy dropped mine off today. Nice low number of "0017". I ordered directly from surefire very early in the process. Good luck.

Wish these were coming without the flashlights but oh well. Maybe we'll see them later on.

Glad to hear you got such a low serial number - gives hope to the rest that ordered from SF.

ES1-M...oh, isn't that the commander with the true chisel grind on a bigger size blade....

hummm, nice for a liner lock. Get it converted by Reese Weiland to a framelock and I'll be impressed.

Soon I will have a supercommander framelocked. then you will all tremble!

Yep. But only until the 14th. Got an email from Evan this evening saying it just shipped.

Medford is just 28 miles north of the California state line, so even UPS Ground is quick.

Now I wonder when the combo I ordered from SureFire will arrive.

A frame-lock Super Commander sounds sweet, but might be a little hefty for most. Wouldn't bug me though, as I prefer large folders. Got a GB in my right front pocket as I type for some reason...

Edit: The ESM-1 is the custom version of the Commander. It's the same size overall as the Super Commander. It has the true chisel grind and a top swedge like the 98-2001 Commanders. Pretty cool and the flagships of my collection.
