I was recently cleaning my small 21 and like a fart in the wind my small washer fell off my desk and disappeared in thin air.
Looks like CR is closed, anyone know where I can locate a small back washer?

I even polished it nice and shiny..One would think it would stand out and easier to find... Stand by as I slap the dumb out of myself.

CRK says to not polish washers. I just wipe the schmutz off with a paper towel or TP.

You need to keep looking, otherwise the knife is going to have to be sent back to CRK which will cost you shipping both ways + washer. Are they closed for the virus or just the weekend?

I “polish” my CRK washers by holding them on a flat surface and rubbing them on a paper towel. It will remove the grime and tarnish. Polishing them shiney is a no go. Since the washers are hand fit, you are stuck waiting and a lengthy turnaround ( my last was 10 weeks ). I once dropped a stop pin sleeve and had to wait all that time. It’s a painful lesson, but it happens. Hope you find it. You have at least 3 weeks to look....!

That sucks. But no need to polish your washer. That was the worst recommendation ever made on a Youtube channel that spread like wild fire. Just use it. The blade will get polished from use throughout the years and then you will end up with a smooooooth blade.

i use a flashlight held almost flat to the floor. if it fell in any sort of carpet it'll likely be kinda upright between fibers.

I have about 60-70 folders. I polish most of them, not due to some recommendation on YT. I am sure my knife is ruined now the washers are polished....................................
