Well I just wanted to make this well deserved post. I'll keep I short and sweet. I posted in the other thread about my screws on my Sebenza having a slight burr on the edges of 2 of the male screws. CRK contacted me personally after seeing my post and are sending me new screws. This is why I continue to buy knives from them. Great, personal customer service. Oh yeah, and awesome blades! Thanks again Jessie and everyone at CRK!

I send them my brand new Umnumzaan just so they could check the lockup. Lockup turned out to be fine, but they sent me a free tshirt just to thank me for being a customer; those guys are great!

Awesome! I've always been taken care of. Glad to read some well deserved positive threads!

I'm glad I didn't have to start this thread. I got a new lg. 21 Sebenza with micarta inlay. This is one beautiful folder but the blade wouldn't smooth out (for me) after a couple hundred openings.

I called CRK and Jessie I believe, told me to send it in. Reluctantly I did - not knowing what the outcome would be.

They received my folder this past Monday and I got a call on Tuesday that it was ready! Wow was I surprised!

Heather made the call and told me it would be shipping back to me UPS 3 day service at no charge.

I just got home from the dentist and I was surprised that it arrived even a day earlier than forecast.

It's sitting in my pocket right now and opens perfectly. I can't say how surprised I am with this level of customer service - let's just say the ladies were polite to a fault, and the expertise in re-setting the knife to what Mr. Reeve's folders are known for is amazing. To quote so many "buttery smooth!"

Thanks CRK team! :D

I've never had to use the customer service despite the 9 I've owned. Nice to know they are there and responsive if I every need support!

I have a new small Sebie coming but I am alittle concerned that it only has a single thumb stub on it so it cant be opened with either hand. That to me seems very wrong and doesnt make sense to do!

Does anyone know what it would cost to have a double thumb stud put in?

EDIT: I was told that it is $35 for the double thumb stud but then I would assume that I would have to pay for insured shipping both ways! Wow, that's alot!

I must chime in and add that the only time I've had a warranty issue with CRK, they took great care of me and even went above and beyond my expectations by sending me an additional gift.

Despite my wallet being anorexic, I'll be a CRK fan for life.

I've also had good experience with their customer service. Had a Classic come new with the clip loose and the screw wasn't right and they fixed it right up. Also had a Classic micarta refinished and it looks good as new. They answered every question I had and everything was smooth as can be.

I had bought a new Classic from a dealer and the knife was not very sharp so called CRK and talked to Heather to see if they could sharpen it and maybe give it a thinner edge. They said they would sharpen it for me. I asked for UPS 2day sevice which is how I shipped and would pay both ways. They sharpened it and relubed the knife and sent it back ups 2day service and and did not charge me for it and and sharpened and lube it and shipped back the same day they received it!!!!!!!!!!!! CRK has the best customer service in the business.
