CR edc

4 years before.
That's all.

If you're asking if they're going to last, a Sebenza will probably outlive you a couple of times over.

If you're asking if they stay in perfect condition, the answer is no, unless you completely baby the knife. If it does get scratched up or beat up, you can send it in to CRK and have the handles re-blasted or the blade re-tumbled for a fee, and have the blade sharpened for free.

I bought mine as an edc and it sits in my pocket with keys and change so it will get little dings. If you want a safe queen leave it in the safe.

I've carried mine every day for a year and my Sebenza has two very minor scuffs.

Some will agree and some will disagree, but I kinda like the look of a "used" Sebenza. Once the handles begin to show wear the knife begins becoming a it's own style of "unique." Real pretty to me....

:)

Yeah! I don't mean perfect as in mint, or pristine, but as in working, and undamaged( not just scratches and stuff. I want to know if it will last when used. I may not be the hardest user, but it would be used, and I want to know it would take my abuse(not mistreatment).

I agree! ....gives it more of its own characteristics! Plus when it gets to rough send it in for a makeover!

You've got one slab of stainless steel and two slabs of titanium. What could happen? Unless you really abuse a Sebbie it should last a lifetime. My small Sebbie has about a year of EDC on it as does my Mnandi. I expect many more years of use from them.

Well said...three slabs of durable materials.
:)

A large Sebenza since 2003. Before that a small Sebenza starting in 1999. If it aint broke, don't fix it. But bigger is better.

I've carried my small classic for about 5 months now. It shows a little wear but still looks and works great. I expect to carry it for about 30 more years or until they put me in the home.

Totally depends on what you use it for.
I've seen people "abuse" a knife in a couple weeks.
Personally, I've carried one at work (office) for about a year and it still has no marks.

Time isn't really a good marker.

I agree with what others say here. Scratches definitely add character. And its also proof that you actually get some use out of it. When the titanium handles get worn down, they get shiny and look really cool.

I carried the same one for 9 years... refurbed it and retired it....It got replaced by the identical model........yeah I know, it doesnt make any sense
