Ok so first I'm sorry. Now... the other day I was trying to prove to a friend that he should get a CR. He argued that they are weak and need high maintenance. So to prove him wrong I first burry it I my pond in mud, then chop up some gross weeds, then back in the water, then into the ash pit, then some tree trimming, then some light food prep and to finish a light wash then back into my pocket.

Also sorry the pictures are not in order and I couldn't post all the pictures they were blurry. And don't worry I cleaned my knife out!

I could never do that to one of my Inkosis. Sounds like it came out alright, though. So, did your friend decide to get one after all?

Looks like your knife had a good time. It sure beats: 1-sitting in a safe. 2-riding in a leather pouch. 3-phone paper slicing mirrored polished murder machine that rarely leaves home.

Mine, a left large 21, has been getting lots of nice wear marks and has broken in like all of those rumors I heard on here. Smoooooth! And strong!

Keep up the dumb sh*t! We need more people like you!

That is a long sentence :)
I am glad to see you putting that knife to work! My CRKs get used, but not like that... Did you take it apart to clean it or wash it out assembled?

I took it apart the next day to see what would happen with all the crap still in the washers, low and behold it was fine.

Great post!! A few years ago I gave a good buddy a Spyderco Military. We were talking knives and he couldn't wrap his mind around my more expensive knives. That day I was carrying an S35VN Strider SnG. He asked what my knife could do that his couldn't. I took a framing hammer and used it to baton my knife through a 2x4. There was only a small mark on the spine of the knife. I handed him the hammer and said "your turn ." He declined.

I've been experimenting with my Inkosi as well. I really really really don't like the perforations in the washers and the trapped grease in there pretty much just adds insult to injury. I've been running the pivot almost bone dry and have had excellent results so far. The pivot is far less grimy. I've been washing it in the sink, fully assembled, just like the good lord intended for any good folding knife.
